Why is the rent higher than a standard lease?
A standard lease in Casablanca means one year minimum, an often-empty apartment, and everything else on you: utilities, internet, furniture, cleaning, paperwork. A Staytle apartment rents from 28 nights to 11 months, furnished and equipped, with water, power, internet and arrival and departure cleaning included in one monthly amount, known before you book and unchanged for the whole stay.
The difference, often around 50%, pays for two things: the freedom to commit only for the real length of your stay, and the peace of mind of having nothing to open, buy, manage or cancel. For a stay of a few months, what you don’t have to do is often worth more than what you pay extra.
In practice, what does all-inclusive rent save me?
Paperwork: no queue at the utility company to open a water and electricity account, with its own deposit, and no 12- or 24-month contract with a telecom operator for fibre. Everything is already running when you arrive.
Equipment: a “furnished” apartment on a long lease often means buying linen, crockery, small appliances. Here, everything is there, and checked before the listing goes online.
Leaving: cancelling subscriptions after three months when the contracts were written for a year is an ordeal. With Staytle, you hand back the keys, and that is it.
And compared with short-stay platforms?
Short-stay platforms price by the night, with service fees that weigh heavily on a stay of several months. Staytle sets a monthly rent, aligned with the rental market rather than the tourist market, the same every month for the whole stay.
And what you sign is a lease, in French and English, with an online check-in and check-out inventory: the relationship is written down, not a hotel booking stretched out.
What do you pay, and when?
Nothing when you send your request: no payment is taken on the site. You read and sign the lease online, and only then receive the bank details to transfer the first rent and the deposit. The stay is confirmed on receipt of the transfer.
The deposit is half a month’s rent for a one-month stay, and one month’s rent from two months. It is returned to you no later than fifteen days after departure; any part that is not disputed is returned without delay.
Subsequent rents are paid by bank transfer when due, following the schedule in the lease.
What is checked before a listing goes online?
Every home passes our checklist before it appears on the site: equipped kitchen, workspace, internet of at least 50 Mbps, minimum floor area for its type, at least eight photos, self check-in possible. A home that does not pass is not published.
The price shown is the price you pay: no fees discovered at booking, no extra charges.
What protects my deposit?
Renting privately, a three-month stay often rests on a verbal agreement or a simple receipt, and the deposit is argued over on departure, with no record of the apartment’s condition on arrival.
With Staytle, the check-in inventory is done online, when you arrive, room by room with time-stamped photos; the check-out one the same way, before you hand back the keys. The home’s manager adds observations within a set time, and that document is the reference. Your deposit does not depend on a conversation.
How does arrival work?
Self check-in. Three days before you arrive, you receive your guide: the code or key box, the wifi, the house rules, the contacts. You let yourself in at the time that suits you, without waiting for anyone. During the stay, the home’s manager remains reachable.
You put your bags down and get on with what brought you to Casablanca: your work, your move, your plans.
Who is it for?
For an in-between length of stay, from a few weeks to several months: a business assignment, a new job, a transition between two homes, a season back home, studies or an internship. Too long for a hotel, too short for a one-year lease, and no wish to set everything up yourself.
What next
Each apartment’s price is shown on its page, all-inclusive, with the availability calendar. Once the dates are chosen, the rent for the stay is set.
